How to make Kai Dao with raw yolk
posted on 09 May 2009 20:17 by monkey-girl in food-and-dessertI went to Zeer today to deposit a check to my bank account but right after i got there i realised that I forgot my bank book and i didnt know my account number.
After that I went to Tops to look for ingredients for chocolate cake and then went out to the market. I got ka prao there then went to 7/11 for coke zero and then caught Song Taew back home.
When I was back home i prepared food for dinner. I had ka prao from the market and i wanted kai dao. The type of kai dao I like is kai dao with raw yolk. So i have some tips for you to have that type of Kai Dao here.
Ka Prao which I got from the market
Kai Dao which I cooked
Things to have:
1. Wok
2. gas stove
3. Duck egg (or chicken egg but duck egg is better for kai dao)
4. oil
How to:
1. put the oil in the wok (like a half cup of oil)
2. wait till its hot (so hot like you can see some smoke)
3. pour the egg in the wok
4. put the hot oil on the egg for a bit
5. fry it like 20-25 seconds and then turn off the gas
